Although estimating software development is difficult, our team are experienced in working out the amount of time and effort involved to deliver solutions. The more information you can provide the better the estimate will be.

The process we use to produce an estimate is as follows:
First we put together a high level estimate. This estimate is based on what you tell us, along with a bunch of assumptions that we make. The purpose of this is to quickly give you a rough guide as to what the costs will be.
The second stage involves further requirements gathering and the production of a specification, with the aim of being able to produce a more accurate quote. For simple systems this stage would just be a short description of what is required, but for more complicated systems a full specification would be needed. Our technical team would work with you to produce that specification.
Once we have all the information, we can produce official quote. As part of the quote we will recommend the team size required, along with estimated timescales, and additional costs such as hosting, 3rd party licenses, and support costs. We may recommend either a fixed price, or an ongoing rate – this decision is generally made based on the complexity of the project.
